Coastal Habitat Restoration
Nicole has found funding for and/or directly managed the restoration of close to
40 acres
Laguna Madre Environmental Consulting’s Founder and CEO Nicole Ekstrom has extensive experience with restoring coastal habitats, ranging from sand dunes, coastal prairie, and salt marsh. We can assist with plant selection, restoration site design, and provide techniques to make plantings successful. We can also assist with butterfly garden or native plant demonstration project designs.
